Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 6:49 PM CST on January 02, 2012

...Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 5 am EST /4 am CST/
Tuesday...

The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow...which is in effect until 5 am EST /4 am
CST/ Tuesday.

* Timing: scattered to numerous snow showers will persist through
  midnight...however roadways will likely remain hazardous through
  the remainder of the overnight.

* Main impact: scattered to numerous snow showers have been
  producing light accumulations to a half an inch on area roadways
  this evening. Travel has become slick and hazardous in many
  spots...including interstates. Not all locations will see
  impacts to roadways...however anyone traveling tonight should be
  prepared for sudden changes to Road conditions.


Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow will cause
travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited
visibilities...and use caution while driving.
