Storm Report

We measured at 43 mph wind gust at 2:48am. That's one of the highest gusts we've recorded in years here in NE Oldham County. The local Mesonet station about four miles to our SE measured 32 mph. As the rain continues to fall we've recorded .61 inch as of 4:00am est.

Watching Storms

The line of storms are now in Arkansas. They're seeing rotation. This line seems to be moving northeast which would indicate that it will enter the Kentuckiana area instead of staying south as predicted. Here's the latest radar grab. Notice also that storms are firing up ahead of the squall line here in Kentucky.

Storms Brewing

Some friends who live out west have reported scary winds again. This is similar to the last storm system that swept eastward out of Colorado bringing severe weather for the Ohio Valley.
